Registration
First things first. Register from the web or your iPhone. It’s easy. In just a few quick steps you will transform yourself into a Koollager! Click on the "Join Now" button from the Koollage homepage - on the web or your iPhone. Remember to validate your registration from your email account to gain immediate access to the Koollage community.

Your Personal Podspace
This is your personal domain after login. From your personal podspace, you can create and manage your pods, keep up-to-date on the pods that you follow and that are share with you. From this page, you can also track and manage friends, receive tips from the Koollage Krew, access Klubs and much more!
A pod consists of multiple frames and is a unique way to package multimedia content. Pods can hold anything - your everyday day life and the world around you, your hobbies and interests, products and services you want to sell, your most relevant search results, gossip and news about the most happening celebrity, your favorite music and movies…the sky’s the limit. Easily aggregate images, video, audio, web pages, search results and rss feeds, annotate with short text summaries and instantly publish to your world.
Pod about a single topic or about 10. It takes less time to create a stunning pod than it does to send an email.
A pod is like a mini-player with buttons to navigate across frames. A frame consists of a multimedia area which can contain images, videos or audio, a text summary area, and a comment area below.
The first frame in a pod is the title frame, which displays all the details about a pod - the pod title and url on the top, and the owner, date created, views, and ratings on the collapsible dashboard. The pod summary is also found on the title frame.
Navigation buttons along the top allow you to get around within the Pod.

menu includes pod home (i.e. the title frame) or Koollage home (i.e. the Koollage homepage). The link 
next to the pod title is the pod url link. On frames other than the Title frame, this url link will take you to the content source in the frame. - The index
menu includes the frame directory, settings, and owner profile. In the frame directory, you can reorder frames and directly get to any frame you want. The settings option pulls up a setting frame where the user can change the pod type, privacy settings, or lock status (Locking Pods: A Pod owner can lock a pod to disable comments and automatic feed updates). The owner profile option brings up your private profile for your own pods (if logged in) and the public profile of the pod owner in other cases. Check it out – very Kool!
Dashboard
Important metadata details about the pod are contained in this collapsible dashboard found in every frame:
of times the Pod has been viewed.
Pod's Popularity rating. Pods can be rated from any frame, but you need to be logged in. You can rate a pod only once, and no – you cannot rate your own pod!
Tags give character to your pod and allow your pods to be searchable. You can continue to add tags to your pod at any time after you have created the pod.- Clicking on the user icon or picture takes you to the user's public profile.
Comments
Anyone can view comments in a public pod.
Only Koollagers can add comments. To add a comment to a pod, click on the comments icon and the add comment icon

social: collaborative group podding. Social public pods allow anyone to add frames, social private pods allow only those that the owner has shared the pod with to add frames

Creating a Pod is simple and easy. Just click on the Create Pod button from your podspace.

- Create a custom new Pod from scratch frame by frame – Enter the title and tags for your pod and your pod is instantly created. Set the privacy option for your pod and also decide if you want it to be a social pod. Your Pod is created in secs, and you can add frames to your pod from the edit menu at any time. Privacy options can be instantly changed from the settings frame.
- Convert a blog or feed url Enter the blog or feed url for the blog you want to convert into a pod. In seconds, see blogs transformed into super widgets that you can access from and post anywhere. This is a great way to mobilize all your favorite blogs and feeds. Converted blogs are automatically stored in Klub Plog on the community page. Visit Klub Plog often to see the latest updates to your favorite blogs or mark them as favorites from the share menu to access them right from your podspace. Coming soon…claim your pod!
- Create a Search Pod: This is a great way to package and share search results. Koollage will automatically create a pod for your search topic – you can then edit this pod, add your own wisdom and share with others. This is a great way to "jumpstart" your pod.
The power of a pod is in the flexibility you have to personalize mash-ups in a manner that is both social and mobile. See how easy it is to throw anything you want into a pod.
Click on the edit button. You have a rich variety of choices on how to populate the frame. You can add text, image, video, audio, rss, and webpages. Search the internet from within your pod and bring in what you need, all with one click! And just to set the mood, you can spiff up your pod and add a touch of personality by choosing a theme from the Koollage palette (click on Add Theme in the Edit menu).

is just as simple. Your Koollage Pods can quickly accommodate urls from video sites like YouTube, Revver, or the raw Embed-tag from any video/flash site like Metacafe, Vimeo, Videojug, etc.

Edit menu: Add Frame - add RSS
Do you want Koollage to pretty up your favorite feed content so that you can take it anywhere? Use the add rss option 
, enter the feed url and watch the stories transform to pod frames in seconds. This feed becomes yours forever. No more work to do. You will continue to get updated information from this feed for as long as you want!

If this isn't kool enough, Koollage offers 'search' capability from right within your pod. Click on Search Tools from the edit menu. Type a topic to search on the web. Koollage will present you an array of search results in various formats - image, video, news or web pages. Select the relevant results and add to your pod –all within secs!

Deleting a frame or pod is a cinch as well. Just click the delete option on the edit menu.

Spiff up your Pod with your favorite color and create a WOW effect! Using the Add theme option in the edit menu you can change the colors in your pod. Go ahead try it – you’ll love it!
Podding is fun when you can share what you have discovered and created. Pod-sharing is easy, instant and addicting. And yes, you can share from the web or your iPhone.
Use the Share menu in the Pod to:
- Share with your Koollage friends
and Groups on Koollage 
- Post Pods to Koollage Klubs
- Mark a pod as a favorite
from the Share menu and track it regularly from the Shared Pods list in your podspace. - Share Pods via email with friends outside of Koollage

Invite and Manage Friends, Create Groups
Invite your buddies to your podspace – invite via email or search for other koollagers (you can search by username, real name, email address or by interests) to join your friend network.
You can add, delete and manage your friends from the My Friends page
Check out the Groups feature as well. Groups make it easy to share pods with many people at once. Create a group and add as many friends as you would like inside. Then you can share pods with the entire group with one click. Peas in a pod can pod together!

Help build the Koollage community! Visit the Community Page to view recent Social Pods and Klubs. Start your own Social Pods or join Koollage Klubs. Make new friends and connect with people who share your interests. Being kool is more fun in groups!
Social Pods
Contribute your thoughts, wisdom, or opinions using Koollage social pods Seek other's opinions or answers to your most pressing questions. Koollage social pods allow group blogging. Any Koollager can contribute frames to a public social pod. Or start a private social pod and share it with friends who you want to contribute. Look out for the orange border around a pod thumbnail – that’s how you know its Social.
Klubs
Koollage Klubs are where you can join groups around your interests and passions. Browse the selection of Klubs available and join one if it catches your interest. You can also contribute to a Klub you are a member of by using the share option and posting Pods. Coming soon: Be the koolest kid on the block by creating your own Koollage Klubs!
Keep in mind that your pods are never frozen unless you want them to be. Install the Koollage AddMarklet in your browser, and you can instantly add webpages to your pods with a single click. With this marklet, podding becomes as seamless as browsing web pages. Remember to enable pop-ups from Koollage so that you can select a pod to send the webpage to.
For Firefox and Safari, drag the AddMarklet button to the Browser’s toolbar (In Firefox, make sure that View->Toolbars->Bookmarks Toolbar is checked. If you click this button while browsing, you’ll be prompted to choose the pod you’d like the page added to. That’s it!
For Internet Explorer, click on the AddMarklet button and add to Favorites. Click this bookmark while browsing and then choose the pod you’d like to send the page to. It’s done!
